This interesting piece of architecture was built from the 16th until the 18th century. The village however was already mentioned in the year 1321. The oldest part of the palace is erected in gothic style, which remains can still be viewed in the basements. It used to be the seat of the farm of the premonstratic abbey in Wroclaw.

In 1810, the estate was secularized by the Prussian state, and after the Napoleonic wars in 1815, the Prussian King gave it as a present to Field Marshal G. L. von Bluecher, Prince of Wahlstatt (nowadays Legnickie Pole). The Prince died here in 1819 and was buried in the mausoleum at the entrance of the village. His descendants were until 1945 proprietors of the palace and the surrounding estate.

After the Second World War, the palace housed different organizations until 1975. Then it fell into ruin. In 1991, Antyki-MSV Ltd. took over the property and renovated it.
